About Jack Handy LLC

Hello, my name is Mark Thomas and thank you for visiting my website.  I am the passionate owner of a small business located in Hot Springs Village that provides home maintenance and repair services for Senior Citizens and the physically challenged.  The company name Jack Handy is a play on the words “jack of all trades handyman”.  My goal is to provide you a trusted and responsible source for the care and well being of your home.

The creation of Jack Handy LLC came about because of my own personal experiences with parents, relatives and other close personal friends who hired various handymen and home contractors over the years.  In our modern society it seems family is either too busy, non- existent, or live great distances away when it comes to assisting in the home maintenance and repair needs of our homes.  In the past, families lived together or at least close enough to help one another out around the home. Today most homeowners simply do not possess the physical ability, knowledge or skill-set to repair even the most common home maintenance tasks.

Many people, like my parents who lived in a different state simply asked their neighbors and friends if they could recommend a handyman or someone that could help them around the home.  Most of the help they received over the years was okay to marginal at best and some of it was quite scary.  I believe most of the time we simply have no idea who we are letting in our homes and on our property.  Trust….for only five letters it’s really a big word.

The building blocks of my company include Integrity, Honesty, and Respect.  I have always lived my life with a moral compass and I intend to run my business much like my life.  Growing up I will never forget my mom saying “you are only as good as your last deed”.  Those words still echo in my ears to this day and have guided me in raising two beautiful, grown daughters that I am extremely proud of.  Read More.
